This recent authentic-style house is a 2-minute drive from the village of Corumbela. From the road between Archez and Arenas, we turn onto a small dirt track. Within a few 100 metres we reach the house.
A paved driveway leads us to a spacious place where several cars can be parked.
We enter the house through the large open-plan dining room/ kitchen. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances but, like the whole house, could use some modernisation.
A large semi-open archway gives us a view of the spacious living room. Here the space and high ceilings catch our eye. The use of authentic terracotta tiles, roughly plastered walls and wooden beams all over the house make for a beautiful and atmospheric base.
A small hall gives further passage to a first bathroom with bath and 2 guest rooms.
At the end of the hallway is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. This bedroom gives views over the spacious swimming pool. Installing French doors and an adjoining terrace would be the ideal addition. The outdoor spaces and views appeal to us enormously. There is plenty of room to create additional shaded areas, plant greenery, etc..
From the garden, you enjoy the wide views over the surrounding countryside and villages.
